Who I am

My name is Xiaoning Yu. Since I was a child, I have had a great passion for art and European culture. At the age of 16, I began studying drawing and painting with a private art teacher in my city. After a brief experience in Portugal, I moved to Italy, where I currently reside and where I have had the opportunity to deepen my understanding of European culture and artists.

For me, painting is a way to escape from everyday life and enter an ideal place where we can find beauty, joy, imagination, and aesthetics. At the same time, painting is also a means and a tool to reveal reality, explain contradictions, and transcend reality.
